Air thermofireplaces
made of cast iron and
ceramic glass
The TROPICAL range features high
performance fireplaces which use air
as their thermo-vector.
Equipped with a combustion chamber
made entirely of cast iron and
closed with ceramic glass with a
retractable door, they guarantee
lasting functional autonomy without
refilling.
WOOD HEATING: THE ECOLOGICAL OPTION
Wood is a renewable and ecological source of energy. Respectful of the environment, it doesn’t
contribute to the greenhouse effect, caused by the increase in carbon dioxide (CO2) in the
atmosphere.
Wood is also a never-ending source of energy, because man is able to renew it and it is available
in large quantities in our regions. Cultivating woods is also a way of maintaining the
landscape and regulating surface waters.
The combination of these elements makes wood one of the energy sources of the future.

The Amiata Caminetti aim was to complete the range of high-performance thermofireplaces
begun several years ago with the Tropical series, an innovative product
which exploits the experience garnered in over 20 years of production of these articles.
Made entirely in the new plant, all the Tropical models offer extensive heating capacity,
thanks also to a motor capable of developing 650 CU.M/h, together with larger
sized air connections.
Monobloc
Built entirely of extra thick steel, it is fully modular, allowing the dismantling and
replacement of every single part.
Combustion chamber
Made entirely of cast iron it allows an efficient thermal exchange with the circulating
air succeeding in obtaining top of the range performances, also thanks to a special
heat exchanger system positioned in the smoke outlet area.
Thermal glass
Ceramic glass heat resistant to 800°C is fitted as standard with a double rise and fall
and leaf door opening for cleaning and maintenance.
The frame incorporates the main combustion air regulation valve, allowing adjustment
of the combustion at any time with the glass closed.
A new feature of this model is the introduction of the automatic opening or closing of
the smoke outlet valve with the movement of the door.
Ventilation
A powerful 650 CU.M/h electric motor enables perfect irradiation of heat throughout
the whole environment, thanks also to the improved distribution outlets and the electric
control panel which allows use of the monobloc in automatic and manual modes.
The excellent output air capacity enables an improvement in the age-old problem of
stains around the outlets, making it possible to maintain a constant output air temperature,
never allowing it to rise too high as this might cause the toasting of dust
molecules leading to the formation of unpleasant smells and stains.
Easy transport
The easy to dismantle and reassemble cast iron combustion chamber allows easy
transport and installation in any environment.
Ideal load
The ideal load is of 5-6 kg of well aged wood, refilling with subsequent loads of 3
kg, which optimises combustion and constant performance. |
